You’re ready to buy…but before you do, compare! The first place to check: the two online superstores!

Even if you’re in a hurry, it takes very little time to do a quick search to compare prices on at least one of these sites, and it’s even better to check both.

Amazon.com and Walmart.com are two of the biggest online stores in the US. Amazon.com is the largest online retailer in the US (based on online sales), while Walmart is the largest retailer in the US (including both in-store and online sales).

Both have a very broad selection of merchandise and competitive prices. A simple search on one or both sites will let you know just how competitive your price is. This is especially true if it is either Amazon.com or Walmart.com doing the selling and not one of their marketplace vendors (more on this later). However, don’t just rely on these two websites for your purchases. They do not always have the lowest prices, but they are well-known retailers with good customer service policies that allow you to return merchandise for almost any reason.
